Flight of the Bats in Austin, Texas

I can’t find an amazing (unshaky) video of this. I wish I took one when I lived there. But you can get the gist of how truly amazing this phenomenon is. Over 1 million bats, every summer fly over the Congress St. bridge. Just one of the many reasons why Austin is a totally rad place to live.

I live in Arizona. Everyone that moves here from Texas brags about it constantly. It’s a bit annoying, actually.

But the bats are awesome!
